Presenter: Nena Hawkes
Nena Hawkes (she/her) is a local theatre artist and mother of three whose love for full mask theatre began the moment she took her first workshop in 2002. Since then she has invested in training with several educators and professional mask theatre troupes such as Vamos Theatre, and has devised, performed, and directed multiple short-form mask pieces. She is passionate about all forms of theatre, and believes in the power of art to heal and connect us to one another and ourselves. As a holistic wellness professional, Nena's workshops are created through an aligned, trauma-informed lens.
