An Introduction to Lime Mortars for Homeowners

Join us for a 1-hour information session to talk through the different types of lime mortars, different uses and what might be appropriate for your old house.

The course is meant for homeowners who may be wanting to do their own repairs or those seeking knowledge before appointing builders.

There will be opportunities to ask any questions you may have.

This session will be delivered by Jeremy Melling, a practitioner with extensive experience in building conservation.

• These workshops are aimed at adults. You will need to be 18 or over to attend.
• Unless otherwise specified, all materials will be provided by us.
• Refreshments such as tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided.
• Due to the content of some of our activities, you will be required to undertake a Health and Safety briefing before the start of the session. You may be required to wear PPE, such as face shields and gloves. These will be provided by us.
• Please wear weather and activity appropriate clothing and footwear when visiting us.
