This beginner friendly session introduces free-motion embroidery on a standard sewing machine with a drop-feed capability. Students will learn basic setup, safe practice, stitch control, and some simple design creation. By the end, they’ll understand:
What free-motion embroidery is.
What they can achieve.
And will have completed sample examples.
Note: This lesson assumes students already know how to use a sewing machine in general (threading, basic controls, wound bobbin, safe operation). If any student is unfamiliar with sewing machines, consider a pre-workshop quick refresher.
DO NOT JOIN THIS CLASS IF YOU HAVE NOT USED A MACHINE BEFORE
By the end of the session, students will be able to:

Create some free-motion embroidery sampler/designs.
