An Introduction to Equine Therapeutic Touch – 2 Day Workshop
THERAPEUTIC TOUCH (TT) is a Holistic Healing Practice developed originally within an evidence-based framework. As well as drawing on contemporary science, TT also draws upon ancient wisdom and teachings.
Therapeutic Touch (TT) is a bio energetic healing process developed within the parameter of modern-day healthcare. It is a modern interpretation of the ancient art of healing and has the potential of creating a bridge between ancient traditions and contemporary thinking. It involves working with a gentle touch assisting the body to comfort, balance and heal. By compassionate focused intention TT has been known to bring about deep relaxation and sense of well-being.
This workshop is designed to teach TT so that it can be practised by anyone who has a true intent to help others.
Therapeutic Touch has been taught and practiced globally both in healthcare and in the wider community.
This is an introductory course providing a foundation for further training to become a qualified TT Practitioner. Participating in this workshop will enable you to use TT on your horse and yourself, as self-care is an important part of TT. This course can also be used simply as an opportunity to expand your knowledge of Healing and energy work and to spend some time in a Healing space.
Cost: £150, concessions are available - please enquire if you cannot afford the full fee.

About Karen Eastham:
Karen has a background of over 45 years of experience working as an Integrated Health Practitioner, Bodyworker, Psychotherapist, Ayurvedic Heath Coach and Energy Practitioner with both horses and people.
She is recognized by The Therapeutic Touch International Association as a TT Teacher in the UK. And her work has become established over 4 decades both within healthcare and the equine/animal industry.
Karen has developed her skills over many years of studying energy, quantum physics, healing, Mysticism, Shamanic practice, Ayurvedic Health, Spirituality and has training in several energetic modalities, herbalism, Essence work, Clinical Aromatherapy, Dru Yoga, Meditation & Breathwork, Naturopathic & Emotional Health Practices.
She has a true passion for teaching and enjoys the privileged experience of facilitating the empowerment of others in their own self-discovery of personal growth and the many positive changes that can occur for the people who come to learn.
