An Intro to (In)Visible Mending/ Darning | Manchester Wool & Yarn

Celebrate the life of your clothes with an introduction to woven darning and mindful mending. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn the basics of weaving, how to create simple patterns, and explore both visible and invisible mending techniques.

Scrap fabric will be provided for you to practise on, along with all the tools and a selection of yarns you’ll need. In the spirit of mending, please bring along a garment that could use a little TLC, or something you’d like to embellish and give a new lease of life.

If you have any specific colours in mind, please feel free to bring your own yarns along too.
