This August, Zushi Barangaroo is inviting diners to slow down over a 20-course omakase experience designed to showcase the beauty of seasonal Japanese cuisine. Held every Wednesday evening, Omakase Wednesdays offers an intimate dining experience where just 10 guests per seating can watch the Executive Chef prepare each course from the restaurant's exclusive Chef's Counter or table seating.
Celebrating the finest Japanese ingredients alongside premium Australian produce, the menu evolves through a series of thoughtfully composed dishes that honour balance, precision and seasonality. Highlights include freshly shucked Sydney Rock oysters, a premium sashimi selection, abalone tempura, wagyu with foie gras and truffle, an extensive sushi omakase, and a seasonal dessert.
Priced at $225 per person, the experience can be complemented with a premium beverage pairing for an additional $65 per person.
