Drawing from journals, autobiographies, and personal writings, actress Betsey Means will portray enigmatic poet Emily Dickinson.
During her lifetime from 1830-1886, Dickinson was thought of as an eccentric by the locals in Amherst, Massachusetts. She became known for her penchant for white clothing and her reclusiveness. As a prolific and private poet, she questioned the nature of immortality and death. Through nature, she seemed able to glimpse into a mystical dimension beyond worldly distractions.
