John Fiddlers career that spans over three decades, starting, in the late 60's as the singer and songwriter with MEDICINE HEAD, the most successful act on legendary DJ John Peel’s fledgling Dandelion label. The band tasted their first chart success with (AND THE) PICTURES IN THE SKY, which reached 19 in the UK top twenty single charts in July '71.
MEDICINE HEAD went on to score three more UK top twenty hit singles for Polydor records: ONE AND ONE IS ONE No 3 in May '73,RISING SUN No 9 in August '73 and SLIP AND SLIDE No 19 in February '74 as well as a series of successful albums. We are delighted to welcome John to Tamworth who will be highlighting songs from Medicine Head Heartwork his new album and of course those big hit songs
