About this Event
Tea Ceremony | Therapeutic Art Making | Storytelling | Fire Ritual
Francis Weller says “To honor our grief, to grant space and time in our frantic world, is to fulfill a covenant with soul—to welcome all that is, thereby granting room for our most authentic life.” Come make space for your grief with an intimate day in community. Learn ways to tend to your grief that you can take home with you. Transmute grief through ritual, creative expression, and being witnessed in community. The day will include a tea ceremony, therapeutic art making (no experience needed), storytelling, and a fire ceremony. Come into a cozy home that can hold you and grief with tenderness and open arms.
ALL FORMS OF GRIEF ARE WELCOME. Grief comes in many forms: the loss of a loved one, the loss of identity, the losses of our world and environment, and so much more. Anytime we go through periods of change, we have the potential for grief. We are not meant to grieve in isolation. There is healing that comes from grieving in community.
The cost for the retreat is $111. This includes lunch and snacks. Sliding scale options available. Please reach out if you are needing support.
