An Impossibly Normal Life by Matthew Finley

The Colorado Photographic Arts Center (CPAC) presents An Impossibly Normal Life, a solo exhibition by photographer Matthew Finley. Drawing from found snapshots collected worldwide, Finley constructs a fictional visual history of his Uncle Ken, reimagining a life shaped by queer love, freedom, and self-expression. Through the addition of glitter and rhinestones, Finley transforms intimate, everyday moments into acts of affirmation—celebrating joy, resilience, and the radical power of being seen.

Opening Reception: Friday, February 27 (5 - 8 pm)

Artist Talk and Book Signing: Saturday, February 28 (1 pm)

All events are free and open to the public
