The Rainy City Cruisers 50th Anniversary meet is at The Rising Sun Pub, Hazel Grove, Stockport.We have proudly been invited to attend this one off show. The Rainy City Cruisers are probably one of the longest established Hot Rod & Custom Car Clubs in the UK. Back in the early days of UK Hot Rodding, being in a car club meant something. The RCC set their standards high, they were regarded as one of the best clubs to be in and were admired by many.
50 years later, they are still going strong. They still regularly meet and always attract some of the highest quality cars you are likely to see.
5 decades of UK Hot Rodding is something special, so much history to be shared and remembered.
Ourselves from The Leeds Cruise group are going to Cruise Across The Pennines to Hazel Grove, near Stockport for this event.
Here's the plan...Gather up at Hartshead Services, M62 10am. Setting off 10:30 for a steady and safe Cruise over the tops. Their show starts at 12 Midday. Stay as long as you like and depart at your own leisure or drive back together.
Cruisin' in our old cars is what this group is all about. Rolling down the road to a car show with like-minded folk in their cool cars is so much better than arriving on your own. It adds to the whole experience. It's going to be fun.
