Having cut his teeth with bands like Silver Jews and Lambchop, William Tyler has carved out their own distinct spot in fingerstyle guitar world, with one foot steeped in it's history making reference to Elizabeth Cotton and Windham Hills Records, he pioneers the genre into the vast horizon. His playing is the storytelling of the vast and confused country that can be America.
You may have recently seen Tyler on tour with Wilco, or Emmylou Harris, or in collaboration with Marisa Anderson, harpist Mary Lattimore, Yasmin Williams, or even Yo La Tengo.

Joining Tyler is acclaimed Nashville pedal steel player Luke Schneider. While a member of Tyler's projects, Schneider is a force unto himself, leading the world in a new renaissance of cosmic solo pedal steel music with his solo works, Schneider soars to the cosmos while his feet stay planted firmly in Nashville history.
