An Evening With William Roache: The Best Of His Life & Times

William Roache is best known for playing Ken Barlow in the ITV soap opera Coronation Street. Bill is the longest serving cast member in Coronation Street, having appeared in the show since its very first broadcast on 9th December 1960. He is listed in the Guinness World Records as the longest serving television star in a continuous role. A true British television legend and National Treasure.

The evening will explore the best of Bill’s life and times. The evening promises to be a genuinely unique and special occasion in a warm, welcoming and intimate venue. Bill will explore what his life was like before fame - growing up during World War 2, his life at school, time spent serving in the British Army and so much more! Of course, there will be many interesting, heartfelt and fascinating stories about his long and successful life as part of the British Soap institution that is Coronation Street.
