Opening the night is Rosalba Valdez, a Chicago-born Mexican-American singer blending Latin traditions with modern sounds. Her bilingual, socially conscious music delivers an uplifting performance.
About Vivir Quintana
Vivir Quintana is a Mexican singer and songwriter recognized as one of the most powerful voices of her generation. Her songs blend folk, regional, and ranchera music with lyrics full of freedom, love, and poetry. Her debut album, Te mereces un amor (You Deserve a Love), is available on all digital platforms.
She has shared the stage with artists such as Mon Laferte, Aterciopelados, Caifanes, El David Aguilar, Manuel García, La Santa Cecilia, Silvio Rodríguez, Camila Fernández, and many others in countries like Mexico, Chile, Spain, Argentina, Colombia, Guatemala, the United States, and more.
Millions of women around the world have embraced her song Canción sin miedo (Song Without Fear) as a feminist anthem. She collaborates with Mexican and international organizations advocating for human rights.

About Rosalba Valdez
Rosalba Valdez is a Mexican-American singer from Chicago whose music bridges diverse cultures, blending traditional Latin sounds with contemporary influences. Her debut EP "Yo Soy Mexicana" in 2019 marked the start of a successful journey, leading to a forthcoming 10-song album showcasing her artistic evolution and cultural roots. Noteworthy performances include the SELENA Tribute Concert at Millennium Park in 2023 and captivating audiences at prominent festivals like Andersonville’s Midsommarfest, Ruido Fest, and more with her dynamic 8-piece band. Her original music has a bilingual lyrical component with a social justice theme and feel-good, upbeat Latin rhythms for everyone to enjoy.
