Ashutosh Verma: A Prominent Tabla Player
Ashutosh Verma is a highly talented tabla player in the Indian Classical Music community. He began his tabla training at the age of three under his father, Mr. Deen Dayal, and later studied with the renowned Taal Samrat late Ustad Hashmat Ali Khan for seven years. After Ustad Hashmat Ali Khan's passing, Ashutosh continued his training under Ustad Akram Khan, a legend of the Ajrada Gharana.
Ashutosh has performed at prestigious events like the Lucknow Festival, Jhansi Festival, and Swami Haridas Sangeet Samaroh. His talent has earned him awards such as the Swami Haridas Kala Ratan Sammaan, Pandit Nikhil Banerjee Award, and Pandit Chhotelal Mishra Award.
He has also shared the stage with renowned Indian classical musicians, including Pandit Partho Bose, Pandit Harish Tiwari, and Vidhushi Mala Ganguly, among others, which has enriched his musical journey and shaped his unique style.
