THE SWEET REMAINS
When Rich Price, Greg Naughton, and Brian Chartrand met at a jam session in 2008 the three instantly recognized a kinship. The singer-songwriters each set aside burgeoning solo careers to form The Sweet Remains, a musical union driven by forceful lyrical and melodic writing of three gifted musicians.
The trio’s music appeals to fans of contemporary folk-rockers like Jason Mraz, Ray LaMontagne, and John Mayer but it’s their lush, three-part harmonies that distinguish The Sweet Remains from throngs of guitar-toting troubadours and has earned them comparisons to Crosby, Stills, and Nash and Simon and Garfunkel.

THE ESSEX EXPERIENCE
Located on the campus that used to be known as The Essex Outlets and Cinema, The Essex Experience is an effort to reclaim retail spaces and turn them into cultural centers. You can spend a whole day here with Black Flannel Brewery, Black Flannel Distillery, Magic Man Cannabis Cafe, Sukho Thai, Uncommon Coffee, Arthound Gallery, The Mad Taco, The Double E Performance Center, Essex Cinemas, and so much more.
The Essex Experience has been hard at work during the pandemic to prepare our spaces for the return of community gatherings. A new stage will be gracing our green by the beginning of the summer, and we're excited to throw some parties.
This event is placed entirely on The Green but may spill over into the parking occasionally, The Green has become an even more special place to us in the last year, as it has allowed The Double E to continue to host live music, entertainment, and community events while in observance of social distancing guidelines
We've expanded the green even further! We have plenty of lawn to have your own personal space. Feel free to bring picnic blankets or low-backed chairs. no Umbrellas or pop-up tents allowed.
No outdoor beverages are allowed. Outdoor food is allowed only if it is purchased at one of our on-campus partner restaurants. Please leave backpacks, coolers, or large purses in your car. The venue retains the right to check any bags that enter the venue.
This is a no-smoking venue.
The Double E Performance Center takes Coronavirus seriously. We recognize that the success Vermont has experienced is because of the respect Vermonters have shown for each other.
Trust Us - we wish things were normal too! Until that time comes, we're eager to continue to support live music, while keeping people healthy. Please follow our guidelines while at the venue or you will be asked to leave.
