Join us for an intimate Q&A with Lily Canter and Emma Wilkinson, ultra-runners, journalists, and authors of Ultra Women: The Trailblazers Defying Sexism in Sport, shortlisted for the William Hill Sports Book of the Year 2025.

From the deserts of the Marathon des Sables to the night sections of 200-mile races, Lily and Emma have spent years uncovering the stories and science of female endurance, how women are smashing records, closing performance gaps, and rewriting what "strong" looks like at every age and life stage.

Expect a candid conversation about:

• The hidden history of women in endurance sport
• The science behind why women excel at ultra distances
• Training, hormones, and how the female body really performs
• What the sporting world still gets wrong, and what's finally changing

Hosted by Bobbi, the Sheffield-built, cycle-informed fitness app for women, this is an evening for runners, lifters, cyclists, walkers, and anyone curious about female performance, whether you've ever toed a start line or not!
