It feels like I was meant to do magic."Silverman's journey began traditionally enough: raised by a jazz musician father, he immersed himself in music early and studied at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music before becoming a standout bassist in the jazz scene. But he soon felt constrained by the instrument and pursued a sound he could truly call his own."I didn't set out to be a weirdo," he says. "But I'm starting to embrace it."
