About this Event

Sunyi Dean joins us launch The Girl With A Thousand Faces, her brilliant follow up to The Book Eaters, in conversation with Neil Williamson.

The Girl With A Thousand Faces sees Sunyi turn her gaze on Hong Kong in the wake of the Second World War, as a ghost-talker with no memory faces off with a vengeful spirit and its mysterious connection to her past in this brilliant and vivid slice of historical urban fantasy horror, influenced by ancient myths, legends, and historical realities.

Sunyi will be talking to Neil Williamson about bringing historical settings to life, drawing on folklore and myths in fiction, giving voices to those often seen as voiceless, and more, before signing copies of her books.
