Roger Kunkel and Stoo Odom were in cult band Thin White Rope once, touring the world, appearing on MTV, and having breakfast and puking with Nirvana. The sound was best described as Johnny Cash meets Black Sabbath... but then there were Duke Ellington and Krautrock influences.
Last year saw the two reunite to create the LP Here Comes the Space Cow. The Space Cow will crash the party at NOLA playwright/impresario Kurt Opprecht's house on Tuesday March 24. They'll still sweep you up in a maelstrom with just bass, guitar, and vocals. You have to bring your own booze. No cover, donations appreciated. Don't steal the silverware.
