This Sunday we have a special fundraising event at 5pm, and we would love your support.We're so pleased to welcome RackaRacka to The Mercury Cinema!
The dynamic, award-winning duo behind global sensation Talk to Me and the RackaRacka YouTube channel will entertain us by sharing their incredible journey from Adelaide to Hollywood and beyond.
Danny and Michael Philippou will break down some of Talk to Me‘s iconic scenes, offering insights into their creative process and the making of a film that ‘might be’ Chris Hemsworth’s ‘favourite film this year.’
They’ll also share how they began their careers as filmmakers in Adelaide, and what else is on the horizon.
Proceeds from the evening will go towards The Mercury’s programs for emerging filmmakers, supporting the next generation of South Australian talent.
With plenty of audience interaction, the event is a must-attend, whether you’re an emerging filmmaker, a cinema lover or one of RackaRacka’s 6.8 million YouTube followers.
Bar open from 5pm for a complimentary drink on arrival with thanks to event sponsor Uraidla Brewery.
