An Evening with Petra Lord & Samantha Shannon - Manchester Deansgate

We are delighted to welcome fantasy favourite Samantha Shannon and electrifying new voice Petra Lord to Deansgate, celebrating their respective new releases.

About the authors
PETRA LORD is a biracial trans author. She has a BFA in TV Writing from New York University, which she uses to recommend TV shows to her parents and predict the endings of movies. She's currently based in Los Angeles, where she feeds her dual addictions to hot pot and Korean barbecue and sustains herself with videos of her cat. Queen of Faces is her debut novel.

SAMANTHA SHANNON is the New York Times and Sunday Times bestselling author of The Bone Season series. Her work has been translated into twenty-six languages. The Priory of the Orange Tree is her fourth novel and her first outside of The Bone Season series. She lives in London.

KATHERINE WEBBER is the co-author of YA fantasy rom com series Twin Crowns with Catherine Doyle. Katherine is from Southern California and spent much of her childhood in the Palm Springs desert. Her debut YA novel was the critically acclaimed YA novel Wing Jones. For younger readers, she also co-writes the Sam Wu is Not Afraid and Sunday Times bestselling Dragon Mountain series with her husband, Kevin Tsang.
