Aim of this fundraiser
Please refer to this link below for an explanation of the aims and aspirations of this particular charity fundraising event at Manna vegan restaurant in Primrose Hill, NW3:
All Dogs Matter Charity no. 1132883 has taken in nearly 300 dogs so far this year, a staggering 75% increase since the same time last year. With its dog intake increasing, the charity has also seen a 40% rise in vets bills since 2021. Across the UK, many other centres are already full and others close to capacity, as rehoming slows down, dog abandonment rises, and more people are looking to give up their pets.
PupAid's aim has always been to help end puppy farm cruelty by banning 3rd party puppy dealers, known as 'Lucy's Law.' This ensures breeders are accountable and transparent; so anyone looking for a dog can only choose from a responsible breeder or rescue shelter. With the success of Lucy's Law in England, PupAid will now divert its main focus and resources to help end puppy farm cruelty, and encourage Lucy's Law to be adopted in the UK's devolved nations, as well as similar laws in the US.
As before, all monies and sponsorship generously donated to PupAid will be used to help our cause to help end puppy farm cruelty, improve dog welfare, and promote rescue pet adoption. We thank every single dog-lover and business that has, and continues to, contribute to these essential funds.
