Morlet Family Vineyards is recognized internationally as a First Growth of California, where Luc and Jodie Morlet handcraft vins de terroir and unique cuvées from the Napa Valley and Sonoma Coast.
A master’s graduate in Œnology, Luc Morlet has achieved the remarkable feat of receiving 100 points across the varietals of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Sémillon-Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Late Harvest Sémillon. Low-intervention French winemaking techniques produce powerful, yet refined wines that are harmonious in their intensity, richness, and complexity, while clearly displaying strong personality, seamless character, and graceful aging capability.
The historic winery is located in the beautiful St. Helena appellation and is the fruit source for the ‘Morlet Estate’ Cabernet Sauvignon. The renowned ‘Force de la Nature’ and ‘Force Tranquille’ Cabernet Francs and ‘Passionnément’ and ‘Cœur de Vallée’ Cabernet Sauvignons hail from the Morlet’s vineyard in Oakville, the heart of the Napa Valley. The ‘Mon Chevalier’ vineyard in Knights Valley boasts ideal conditions for the five red Bordeaux varietals. Each of the Morlet’s estate vineyards is meticulously farmed utilizing organic and regenerative practices which reflect Luc and Jodie’s commitment to being great stewards of the land while remaining authentic toward each of their unique terroirs.
The greatly sought-after wines are available to the winery’s mailing list and can be found at the finest restaurants and specialty wine shops around the globe.
