A 5-piece band playing out of Dallas, Texas, MAP has a sound unique enough to stop a passerby, but familiar enough to keep fans of live music coming back for more. Appropriately coined 'Hillbilly Hippie Funk', the band blends genres such as Americana, Folk, Southern Rock, with elements of improvisational jam.Featuring a heart-felt yet gritty lead vocal, screaming guitar, and dance-able grooves, MAP delivers a dynamic performance offering a little something for everyone.
Mason Adams the singer/songwriter became Mason Adams Project the full band in 2017. What began as an idea of a cast of rotating musicians collaborating to create the 'project', resulted in the founding members remaining with the band for 6 full years.
Fast forward to now. MAP is an entirely different band. Mason has assembled an all-star group of DFW based musicians. Through growth and good measure, Mason Adams Project has evolved sonically with the addition of an All-Star group of musicians in guitarist, Jordan Stoltz, Keyboard player, Austin Ross, Bassist Jon Green, and drummer, Todd Jackson.
