Join us for an inspiring evening of live music from Oneida/Mohawk singer/songwriter Lacey Hill as we come together to celebrate and raise awareness for Minwaashin Lodge – Indigenous Women’s Support Centre. Don’t miss this special night of music, hope and connection, and the special opportunity to support Indigenous women and children.
Proceeds from this fundraiser will help support Minwaashin Lodge's Annual Women's Gathering.
Minwaashin Lodge Indigenous Women’s Support Centre provides a range of programs and services to First Nations, Inuit and Métis women and children (regardless of status) who are survivors of domestic and other forms of violence, and who may also be suffering the effects of the residential school system. All programs and services are provided in the context of cultural beliefs and values to ensure a holistic approach is used as part of the healing journey. Minwaashin Lodge is located at 2323 St. Laurent Blvd and has the only Indigenous Emergency Violence against Women shelter in the Capital region. Oshki Kizis serves First Nations; Metis and Inuit women/families fleeing domestic violence. Minwaashin Lodge has recently celebrated 30 years of service.

Le concert est organisé au profit de la Annual Women's Gathering de Minwaashin Lodge.
Le centre de soutien aux femmes autochtones Minwaashin Lodge offre accompagnement et ressources aux femmes et enfants des Premières Nations, inuits et métis (sans distinction de statut) qui ont été confrontés à la violence familiale, à d’autres formes de violence, ou touchés par les séquelles des pensionnats autochtones. Tous les programmes et services sont proposés dans le respect des croyances et des valeurs culturelles pour garantir une approche holistique du processus de guérison. Situé au 2323, boulevard Saint-Laurent, Minwaashin Lodge abrite le seul refuge d’urgence de la région de la capitale nationale destiné aux femmes autochtones victimes de violence. Oshki Kizis accueille les femmes des Premières Nations, inuites et métisses, ainsi que leurs familles, qui fuient une situation de violence familiale. Minwaashin Lodge est au service de la communauté depuis 30 ans.
