“History as it should have been, Henry Tudor Must Die delivers the delicious revenge we’ve been craving for centuries.”
—Kirsten Miller, author of "The Change" and "The Women of Wild Hill"
In this feminist, witchy fantasy, journalist and author Jillian Laine reimagines the tale of Henry the VIII, weaving together historical facts, magic, a secret society, and the power of vengeful women.
Jillian Laine will be joined in conversation with Traverse City Ticker’s head writer, Beth Milligan. Laine is an author, journalist, and editor. She has written multiple children’s books and has worked as an acquisitions editor, book festival director, and literary award judge. "Henry Tudor Must Die" is her first novel. She and her husband live with their pride of cats in Traverse City.
Doors open at 6 p.m. with live music, and the conversation begins at 7 p.m. This event includes a Q&A session and an author signing immediately following in the lobby.
