ABOUT II BORRO:
Set amid the breathtaking hills of Tuscany, Il Borro is a historic estate where centuries of tradition meet the unmistakable elegance and craftsmanship of the Ferragamo family. Purchased in 1993 by Ferruccio Ferragamo, son of legendary designer Salvatore Ferragamo, the expansive property surrounds a beautifully restored medieval hamlet and reflects the family’s commitment to preserving its extraordinary heritage.
In the vineyards, that same dedication is expressed through organic and sustainable practices designed to honor the land and reveal the distinctive character of the Valdarno terroir. Combining time-honored Tuscan traditions with meticulous modern winemaking, Il Borro produces wines celebrated for their character, balance, and refinement. From vineyard to cellar, the estate embodies a thoughtful harmony of history, craftsmanship, sustainability, and Italian elegance.
