About this Event
This event is part of the Omek Summit x Africadelic Cultural Festival, a 5-day hybrid festival celebrating Africa and its diaspora.
Join us for an exclusive conversation with socio-cultural anthropologist Prof. Dr. Gloria Wekker, author of the ground-breaking book “White Innocence; Paradoxes of Colonialism and Race”.
Accompanied by several special guests, we will be celebrating Wekker’s extensive body of work which has brought questions of colonialism, race, gender, sexuality and diaspora to the forefront of conversation — transcending the boundaries of academia and activism.
