Join us for a special music event featuring a guitar salon, a Q&A with the artist, and a post-concert reception with Julia Trintschuk, the leading German classical guitarist of her generation.
Born in Reutlingen, near Stuttgart, she began learning the guitar at the age of 4 and later earned her master’s degree (2021) and passed the soloist class exam (2023) at the Robert Schumann Hochschule in Düsseldorf. She currently teaches guitar performance at the Hochschule in Karlsruhe.

Julia is an internationally award-winning guitarist with over 30 awards, including the Internationaler Musikwettbewerb der ARD, Deutscher Musikwettbewerb, Forum Gitarre Wien, and her most recent first-place prize at the prestigious 2024 Alhambra International Guitar Competition in Valencia, Spain. Dubbed “Madonna with a guitar” by the press, she is known for her ease, virtuosity, and musical depth.

Julia Trintschuk has performed as a soloist and chamber musician in over 20 countries worldwide, including the USA, Mexico, Russia, Cuba, Brazil, the United Kingdom, Portugal, Poland, Slovakia, Finland, Estonia, Lithuania, Hungary, Croatia, Montenegro, Serbia, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Belgium, and the Netherlands. She has recorded two CDs: her debut "Giocosa" (2017) and her second album “on Love and Eternity” (2024).
