Eric Erdman is a guitar slinging troubadour. His lyrics paint stories that are introspective and deep, quirky but palatable. His songs have fresh hooks that somehow draw listeners in like old friends. Eric has penned the theme song for “Drag Race High,” his song “Stone’s Throw” is a hit for the Red Clay Strays (and is featured on the video game “Country Star”), and his song “Caddo County” will be featured in the movie “Twisters” (2024) . He has released 9 studio albums and 7 live albums. He is the 14X (2010-2023) Lagniappe Awards Solo Musician of the Year; 2021 Southland Music Line Musician of the Year; and 2021, 2022, and 2023 TRMA Songwriter of the year, and co-wrote the 2021 TRMA Song of the Year , “The Wave.” His current album “Enough” hit the TOP 20 on the iTunes Country album chart.
At age 44, Wes Collins and his wife Anita made a pact to become writers: she started writing fiction and Wes penned his first song. A few years later, they were both multi-award-winners in their fields. Collins more than makes up for lost time with songs that dig deep and go to uncertain, sometimes scary places.
