Join the Heart-J Center and Sylvan Dale Ranch for a delectable dinner by Chef Marcus followed by a talk about regenerative agriculture with Dr. Anna Clare Monlezun! Dr. Anna Clare is a farmer, scientist, consultant, and expert in sustainable management of livestock and ranchland. She will share her family’s approach to agriculture applied to their farm near Longmont, where they raise cattle, horses, sheep, hogs, and poultry. She will then share how lessons from the farm apply on a more global scale, with examples of two current consulting projects: how cattle ranching can co-exist with large-scale solar farms creating a win-win for ranchers and the environment; and what it takes to create an informative, transparent labeling system for beef raised using regenerative practices. Event limited to 50 seats - $45 per person (plus 3.7% state tax & 15% service charge)
