About this Event

Acclaimed cellist and composer Clarice Jensen brings her distinct blend of improvisation, looping, and electronica to Music City, performing selections from her album In holiday clothing, out of the great darkness which was named one of NPR’s Top 25 Albums of 2025 across all genres. Drawing abstract inspiration from the cello suites of J.S. Bach, this visceral work explores new sonic horizons while centering the rich, pure sounds of the cello. Be immersed by Jensen’s "kaleidoscopic, surging cathedral of sound” (Tom Huizenga, NPR) in a literal cathedral at Christ Church Cathedral downtown.
