An Evening with CB: Meet the Legend, Support the Film

Event Overview

Join us for a special fundraising Meet & Greet with Claudius "C.B." Claiborne, the first Black basketball player at Duke University. Enjoy an inspiring evening with food and drinks, meet C.B. in person, and learn more about the feature-length documentary in development. The short film premiered at Martha's Vineyard African American Film Festival last month in August, now we are raising funds to make the feature-length version!

Attendees can expect:

• A warm welcome and introduction to C.B.’s historic legacy.
• Behind-the-scenes insight into the making of the documentary C.B.
• Opportunities to ask questions, connect, and take photos.
• A signed poster from C.B. to take home as a keepsake.
• Light hors d'oeuvres and beverages served throughout the evening.
• A chance to directly support the fundraising efforts that will preserve and share this history.
