Waterstones Liverpool are delighted to welcome Catherine Newman and Claire Daverley who join us to discuss their novels "Sandwich" and "Talking At Night" - both of which celebrate the trials & tribulations of love, loss and female friendships.
Catherine Newman's previous novel "We All Want Impossible Things" looked at a lifelong friendship, a cancer diagnosis and the messiness of love. Her latest - "Sandwich" - is a feelgood tribute to such freindships, and revolves around Rocky whose contented world view begins to tip inexorably towards change on a family holiday.
Claire Daverley's gorgeous novel "Talking At Night" effortlesssly nails both the exhierating rush and trepidation if first love, as it charts the burgeoning romance between Will and Rosie.
Join us to hear two authors at the top of their game discuss their beautifully honest novels.
