An Evening with Alex Harvey in York

Forgotten Vikings aims to explore the phenomenon of “the Vikings” from new angles, familiar to academics but largely unwritten in popular history books; the Viking Age viewed as a much larger time frame from 536 to the mid-1400s.
By starting and ending in different years to most similar books, it will demonstrate an informed approach which will, hopefully, change the perspective of a a great many readers about this fascinating era.
Forgotten Vikings looks at the more obscure characters, the less well known regions they visited and considers elements of their culture in relation to earlier pre-Viking traditions.
