And revisit The Whigs at this link.
Parker Gispert, frontman of Athens rock band The Whigs, has spent the past two decades carving out a distinctive place in indie rock. With The Whigs, he released five acclaimed albums, toured with Kings of Leon and The Black Keys, and appeared on late-night TV with their high-energy performances.
As a solo artist, Parker has explored a more introspective side of songwriting while keeping the grit and melodic hooks that defined his band’s sound. His latest solo album, Golden Years (Normaltown/New West Records), blends rootsy melodies, ’90s-inspired rock riffs, and deeply personal storytelling.
This special show will feature songs from both his solo work and fan favorites from The Whigs’ catalog — stripped down and up close in an intimate setting.
