An Evening of Poetry
Ariel Yelen is the author of (Princeton University Press 2024). Her poems have recently been published in The Baffler, The New Republic, and Social Text. She lives and works in New York City.
Kathleen Latham is a poet and short story writer who grew up in Los Angeles and ended up outside of Boston. A Highly Commended winner of Britain's Bridport Prize, she’s also won the Writer’s Digest Short Short Story Competition, the Web Microfiction Prize for Women Writers, and a Bath Flash Fiction Award. Her poetry manuscript Running into an Ex won second place in Chestnut Review’s Chapbook Contest. Twice nominated for Best Small Fictions and a Best of the Net award, she’s been shortlisted for the Bevel Summers Prize, the Stockholm Writer's Festival First Pages Prize, and for contests in such places as Fish Flash Fiction, Reflex Fiction, and Fractured Lit. Her debut poetry collection, The Ones, has been nominated for the Eric Hoffer Book Award.
