Join crime authors Lone Theils and Heidi Amsinck as they take you on a thrillingly murderous journey across the North SeaDKUK are delighted to present 'An evening of Nordic Noir' with distinguished crime authors Lone Theils and Heidi Amsinck.
In the run-up to Halloween, this extraordinary event is guaranteed to send shivers down your spine, as Lone and Heidi talk through their chilling tales of headless corpses and mysteriously missing persons.
Both former journalists, Lone and Heidi approach crime fiction from opposite perspectives: Lone lives in Denmark and writes books in Danish, but set in the UK, and Heidi the reverse. They will talk about how their long stints as correspondents in London left an indelible impression on their lives and fiction.
What's the draw of Nordic noir? Why do reporters make great criminal investigators, and what are some of the real-life crimes that have inspired their books? Find answers to these, and questions of your own, at our unique event.
The evening :
We open doors at 5pm for an early dinner in the company of Lone and Heidi
Morten Pedersen behind Kød has created a ‘Thriller Menu’ from 17.00 – 18.45 pm on the evening which includes a glass of wine or beer. Cash bar available for additional purchases
