Aditi
As a child under the guidance of her parents and grandparents from India, Aditi began offering devotional music from the Sikh and Hindu traditions to her community. More recently, she studied Indian devotional and classical music with her teacher, Krishna Kant Shukla, who lives in Varanasi, India. She has been living in the Asheville area since 2008 and has offered kirtan to her local community with Jojo Silverman, Scott Sheerin, and others. As a hospice physician and end-of-life doula, she values the power of mantra to focus the mind, open the heart, and expand consciousness. www.aditimusic.com
