Join us for the 2021 Notre Dame Irish Lecture. This year we will celebrate Irish music and the indomitable poet, Seamus Heaney! We will start the evening with a performance from a great Irish singer/songwriter, Jim Sharkey. It will be followed by a panel of scholars, each with connections to Notre Dame & Ireland. The discussion will surround Heaney's focus on Irish history in his works. This event is OPEN TO ANYONE and co-sponsored with our friend from the Charlotte Irish Connection and Belmont Abbey. Each guest will get 2 drink tokens (cash bar after that) and appetizers. *Due to Covid, we are limiting this event to 50% capacity (private room) and asking all to wear masks when not eating/drinking and vaccinated attendees. We hope you'll join us for what should be a fun, enlightening, and Covid-safe evening.
