An Evening of Indian Classical Music and Dance

Soumalya Mukhopadhyay, Sanchari Roy and Samit Banik will going to perform Indian Classical Music and Dance. Soumalya Mukhopadhyay is an Indian Slide Classical Guitar (Mohanveena) performer, an empanelled artist of ICCR, All India Radio and scholarship holder from Ministry of Culture.

Sanchari Roy is an Indian Classical dancer (Specialization in Bharatanatyam), member of West Bengal Dance Group Federation, Awarded Bharatha Natyamani from Hosur Natyanjali. Tabla player Samit Banik  was awarded Sangit Ranta from Bangiya Sangeet parisad and Sangeet Bhusan from prachin Kala Kendra, Chandigarh.

We are going to perform firstly Solo Bharatanatyam, secondly Indian slide guitar solo with tabla ( traditional North Indian raga and some semi classical composition) along with Trio of Indian slide guitar, Bharatnatyam and tabla (Fusion between North and South Indian classical music).
