On 6th December 2024 at 7.30pm. Our (mostly) annual reading of the enchanting story A Child's Christmas in Wales by Dylan Thomas. Read by Jason Couch. Accompanied on the piano by Paul Baeyertz. Directed by Rebecca Garron.
A Child's Christmas in Wales is a piece of prose written by the Welsh poet in 1952. The work is an anecdotal reminiscence of a Christmas from the viewpoint of a young boy, portraying a nostalgic and simpler time. It is one of Thomas's most popular works.
A Child's Christmas in Wales is a lovely way to enjoy the Advent season.
The second half of the evening will also include a reading of one of Dylan Thomas‘s works in German.
