An Evening in December 2024

Amelia Baptist Church is excited to offer An Evening in December as our Christmas gift to the community. We invite young and old to join us Saturday and Sunday, December 7th and 8th. Tickets are free, but reservations are essential.

This Christmas, make a memory with your loved ones! An Evening in December offers a family-friendly outdoor experience bringing the first Christmas to life. Follow your story-telling guide and become personally involved in the story as you take an experiential journey of the Biblical nativity. The 28th annual An Evening in December event includes an inspirational choral presentation with drama in the comfort of our worship center. No visit to the first century would be complete without a visit to our “Bethlehem” village. Roman soldiers oversee peaceful shopkeepers, a tax collector, and an overflowing inn. There will be furry and feathered friends in the village available for petting as well!

Parking will be available on church property on a first available basis. There will be designated parking for guests with disabled parking permits. We will have a golf cart available for those with difficulty walking from the parking lot to the event.

Amelia Baptist Church is located at 961167 Buccaneer Trail, in Fernandina Beach, at the roundabout connecting South Fletcher Ave. and First Coast Highway near Harris Teeter.
