Right now, Chez Nous and its owner, Maria, are facing coordinated harassment and cyberbullying — politically motivated attacks, fake messages circulating online, and waves of bad reviews that have nothing to do with the café itself.
Maria is a well-known community member, deeply committed to America, Israel, and basic common sense. Her personal political views are just that — personal. Chez Nous has always been an open and welcoming space, hosting events, speakers, and gatherings of people with a wide range of views. Anyone who wanted to come together, listen, talk, and exchange ideas was welcome.
Harassment, intimidation, and misinformation are not acceptable.
Community support is.
That’s why we’re hosting an evening in support of Chez Nous — to show Maria that she is not alone and that a real community stands behind her.
What to expect:
Misha with a guitar
Wine, champagne, favorite songs
A true kapustnik — warm and made together

Ticket price: $50
Includes one glass of wine, champagne, or another beverage of your choice
Tickets are limited.
All proceeds go to Chez Nous to help them recover any damages.
