A lovely Summer evening stroll along the River Wey and back through Shalford.We will take in some lovely sights along the way seeing nature at it's finest on this 5 mile flat walk.
We will pass St. Catherine's Hill and Artington Spring, see old pillboxes and follow dancing dragonflies to Shalford before commencing on a leisurely route through the trees to Shalford park and then back to the town centre.
If time is on our side then we may even take a trip to Shalford Mill.
Bring with you some fluids and maybe some snacks if you are peckish. Dress for the weather and also bring hand sanitiser.
Meet at the footbridge next to Millmead Lock for a 18:00 prompt start. The walk should take no more than 2 and a half hours.
Well behaved dogs are welcome but we must insist they are kept on a lead
