About this Event
Abstract:
Active Motif, the leader in epigenetics tools and services, brings you the expertise to confidently navigate the epigenetics landscape from start to finish. Understanding gene regulation requires more than sequencing DNA—it requires mapping the dynamic chromatin landscape that controls cellular identity, disease state, and therapeutic response.
In this seminar, Active Motif will present a practical framework for selecting and applying modern epigenetics assays across discovery and translational research workflows. Beginning with ATAC-seq as a foundation for profiling chromatin accessibility, we will explore complementary technologies including ChIP-seq, CUT&Tag, CUT&RUN, RIME, HiC, , and Multi-ChIP to interrogate transcription factor occupancy, histone modifications, chromatin-associated protein interactions, and regulatory mechanisms at scale, with a focus on high-throughput methods.
Attendees will gain insight into:
- Aligning assay selection with specific biological and therapeutic questions
2. When to apply low-input and high-sensitivity chromatin profiling approaches
3. Strategies for studying transcription factors, enhancer biology, and chromatin-state dynamics
4. How TIP-ChIP enables scalable, high-resolution chromatin profiling across large sample cohorts
5. Applications of epigenetics workflows in target identification, mechanism-of-action studies, and biomarker discovery
6. Experimental considerations for assay robustness, scalability, and downstream data interpretation
Whether your team is investigating oncology, immunology, neuroscience, cell therapy, or gene regulation, this session will provide a practical roadmap for generating actionable chromatin biology data.
