Members of Austin Girls' Choir and Mosaic Women's Ensemble share an annual tradition on the weekend after Labor Day: An Enchanted Evening! Come enjoy a magical, musical walk down Memory Lane with American Songbook and jazz classics, '60's and '70's favorites, and more! Ice cream and other snacks will be available for a small fee throughout the show. This family-friendly program will be hosted on Sunday, Sept. 8 by A Musical Feast Concert Series, and presented at 7 PM in the Parish Hall of St. Richard's Episcopal Church (1420 E. Palm Valley Blvd., Round Rock). Plenty of free parking is available adjacent to the building. Convenient for folks from North Austin on up, this location is also very accessible for the mobility-challenged.
If you can't make it Sunday, or Round Rock is too far north for you, do not despair! The Seminary of the Southwest (501 Rathervue), will also host this show on Saturday, Sept. 7 at 7 PM in the Weeks Center, on the east side of the campus. Plenty of free parking is available, either in the parking lot off 32nd and Duval, or along Rathervue. Those with mobility challenges will find accessibility easiest from street parking on Rathervue, as the campus is hilly.
Both shows are free, with donation baskets available at the door for those who would like to support AGC and Mosaic ($10 suggested).
