About Giselle and Erik:
Originally from Orlando and Gainesville, FL and currently based in Nashville, TN, Giselle and Erik are a captivating husband-and-wife folk jazz duo. Each of them songwriters, Giselle Felice and Erik Abernathy offer their audiences a collection of original music that pairs Giselle’s warm, lyrical voice and mellow piano with the sweetly vibrant sounds of Erik’s jazz and classical guitar. Their “signature blend of heartfelt storytelling and acoustic brilliance” (NewsBreak) infuses songs that share everyday life, the path through healing, and a world underpinned by love.
Fresh off a national radio campaign and their Bluebird Cafe debut, Giselle and Erik released their newest project, “Over the Horizon (Deluxe Edition)” in Fall 2026. This self-produced 11-track album features “deeply personal music that showcases the love that the married couple shares” (BroadwayWorld). Woven into their music is a moving reflection on their experiences through Erik’s life with congenital heart disease, including his second and third open heart surgeries.
Through songwriting showcases and multi-artist concerts, Giselle and Erik have shared bills with Vince Gill, John Oates, Jim Lauderdale, Suzy Bogguss, and more.
Prior to joining the Nashville circuit, the duo spent nearly five months entertaining for the Walt Disney Company. Early propellant included the duo receiving international DownBeat Student Music Awards in back-to-back years.
