Join us (Ecstatic DJ Leela and Visual Artist Leila) for an inner, expressive yet interactive journey for your alternative Saturday party night, May 6 from 19-21. It's in the beautiful private space of Kokopelli overlooking the canal water in Amsterdam center. We had success & so much fun making intuitive bodyart together at Het Grote Fijn and In Retrait music Festival last year, and feeling positive this time! No previous art experience required, as the journey will be guided in a no-have-to-dos/free space, and we believe that everyone is an artist!Get high with our own supply, our bodies! Have you ever wanted to make art and express yourself but didn’t know where to begin? Is there any inner voice telling you to go deeper to your authentic creative flow, your life force, or simply enjoying creating something that you like? It’s time to call for the artist within you, using our most intimate, intuitive and connected supply - body painting on our own and each other’s body (with consent, you decide on where, can be just a hand or more parts) with embodied movements.
We will take you on a journey to 'travel' through waves of lives, from connecting with the safe spot within you, to different layers of patterns, lines, colours and highlights through movements and live music. This liberating yet joyful creation process will be guided giving enough space for your own ecstatic and free expressions, enhanced by a live sound journey. Trust yourself and the process, express and have fun! Where it will a beautiful and powerful night of trusting, releasing, showing yourself, expressing, connecting and resting together with feeling authenticity, self-love and aliveness going through.
Note: please wear cloth that does NOT cover the parts of your body where you like to receive bodypaint (you decide where). All paints are washable easily and body/skin-friendly. You are very welcome to take your own 'bodyart' with you home and admire later as well ;)

DJ Leela and artist Leila are a team. It seems no coincidence that they met at an event where Awareness & Exploration were the main ingredients. Both names are derived from Sanskrit as “In our daily experience, embracing the dance of life with a hint of playfulness, including the waves of bright & dark matters and sunshine & rain…” They feel privileged to weave their creativity and experience into both their love-life and by offering their services as a team to you.
